Tyrese Crawford has been selected as the new Program Coordinator for Children Deserve Success as part of the Innovation and Engagement branch for San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools.
Before being selected for her new role, Crawford served as a Principal for Alternative Education, directly supporting Chaffey West Community School. Prior to her role as a principal, she worked as a classroom teacher at Barbara Phelps Community School and the Youth Justice Center.
Crawford has dedicated more than two decades of her career to education, with nearly 17 of those years spent with SBCSS. Prior to joining the organization, Tyrese spent four years with the Chaffey Joint Union High School District, serving as a social studies teacher at Montclair High School.
Crawford earned her Master of Arts in Education with a minor in Social Justice and teaching credential from Claremont Graduate University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in History from Pitzer College.
