Lompoc Unified School District welcomes Joe Ledoux as Principal of Clarence Ruth Elementary and Lisa Moore as Principal of Lompoc Valley Middle School. Transitioning to new positions are Elaine Webber, Principal of Lompoc Adult School and Career Center, Schel Brown, Academic Dean of Lompoc Adult School and Career Center, and Bree Valla, as Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources.
Alameda Unified School District announces that the state Board of Education has appointed Pasquale Scuderi as the district’s new Superintendent of Schools. Scuderi comes to AUSD from Berkeley USD where he was Associate Superintendent of Educational Services. Sara Stone has also been hired as the new Chief Academic Officer. Stone joins AUSD from Oakland USD where she was a Network Superintendent. Alameda USD also announces the following administrative hires: Pam Kazee as Director of Special Education, Mary Busby as Coordinator of Special Education, Gabriel Welcher as Program Manager for Student Services, Tina Lagdamen as Principal of Love Elementary School, Brian Cooper as Principal of Lincoln Middle School, Daniele Pharr-Matthews as Principal of Ruby Bridges Elementary School, Ashley DeGarano as Assistant Principal of Alameda High School, and Jin Kim as Assistant Principal of Ruby Bridges Elementary School.
