Sonjhia Lowery has joined Old Adobe Union School District as Superintendent, having previously served as Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services in the Stockton Unified School District.

The Palmdale School District would like to congratulate the following employees on their promotions:    Danny Kanga has been promoted from Director of LCAP to Chief Academic Officer; Janet Simons has been promoted from Coordinator of Teacher Support to Director of LCAP; Gia Greaux has been promoted from Assistant Principal to Principal Scholar at Yellen Learning Center; Jason Deaville has been promoted from Assistant Principal to Principal Scholar at David G. Millen Magnet Academy; Jorge Maldonado has been promoted from MSAP Coordinator to Principal of Cactus Magnet Academy; Jill Bradford has been hired as Coordinator of Teacher Support; and Adriana Garcia has been promoted from Personnel Analyst to Benefits Analyst.  The district welcomes all of these employees in their new roles as they help to fulfill the Palmdale Promise.
