Isom Advisors has announced that ACSA member Brett McFadden has joined their team to lead its newest division. McFadden will serve as Managing Principal for the District Advocates Group (DAG), a new subdivision of Isom Advisors that provides school facilities and bond program management services for school districts across the state. He transitioned to this new leadership role in July 2024. McFadden has more than 26 years of education policy and leadership experience in public education. He is recognized statewide for his expertise in school finance, facilities and LEA governance.
Prior to launching DAG, he served as the Deputy Superintendent for the Monterey County Office of Education. He also was appointed Superintendent for the Nevada Joint Union High School District, and served over a decade as an Associate Superintendent and Chief Business Officer for two large unified school districts in the Monterey Bay region. From 1999 to 2009, he served as a legislative advocate and management services executive for ACSA.
