Lompoc Unified School District is excited to announce new site administrators: Mark Swanitz as Principal of Cabrillo High School, Jessica Becerra as Principal of both La Honda Steam Academy and Mission Valley, Celeste Pico as Principal of Lompoc High School, Eva Luna as Assistant Principal of Lompoc High School, Ed Arrigoni as Assistant Principal of Lompoc High School, and Madalyn Anderson as Assistant Principal of Cabrillo High School. Congratulations also to Paul Bommersbach and Noelle Barthel, both of whom transitioned to Coordinators for Educational Services, and Bree Valla, as Deputy Superintendent.
The Palmdale School District would like to congratulate the following employees on their promotions: Christine Jones has been promoted from Coordinator of Educational Technology to Principal of Innovations Academy and Amanda Palomo has been promoted from Vice Principal of Buena Vista to Coordinator of Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP).
Solana Beach School District is proud to announce that its seven site principals will be joined this fall by a newly formed administrative team dedicated to supporting the newly developed Online Scholars instructional learning model. Angela Tremble will serve as the program’s principal and will be joined by Roderick Gayta as the assistant principal. Tremble has served as an assistant principal, providing support and assistance for Solana Ranch and Solana Pacific schools. She brings a wealth of leadership experiences to this new assignment, including her role as a contractor for a private technology company and a consultant for the University of San Diego. Gayta has served as a teacher leader for the Solana Beach School District since 2014, most recently serving as Teaching and Learning Project Specialist during the 2019-20 school year and summer intervention program principal this past July.
