ACSA leaders joined leaders from three fellow associations — California Association of African-American Superintendents & Administrators (CAAASA), California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators (CALSA), and California Association of Asian & Pacific Leaders in Education (CAAPLE) — to discuss “Mapping Out a Collective Justice Agenda.”

The Feb. 4 meeting held at ACSA’s Sacramento office was facilitated by Joseph Bishop, Ph.D., executive director of the UCLA Center for the Transformation of Schools and author of the new book, “Our Children Can’t Wait.”

This was the first of many convenings that seek new ways to support the well-being of children of color.
